Law Commission consultation – DC schemes & Social Investment

Late last year the Law Commission announced its intention to review DC schemes involvement in ‘Social Investment’.

The questions in this consultation made it clear that in addition to the more specialist areas of ‘social investment’ additional ‘sustainable, responsible and ethical’ fund options were also under consideration.

As such this consultation is potentially very significant with regard to both the issues and investments I care about and am involved with.

Responses to this consultation, which have just been made public, can be found here.

The Law Commission will report their findings in late April or early May.
